We will clearly learn about what innovations Apple will bring to the new iPhone 5 smartphone in no more than half a year (according to some reports, even in 2-3 months), but we already have many different rumors about the appearance of the device, and unfortunately, most of which, so far, contradict each other. In particular, one source claims a 3.5 "screen, another about a four" one.
Many iPhone users believe that it is high time for Apple to enlarge its phone screen.
One of the users of The Verge forum suggested an interesting scenario for increasing the iPhone 5 screen to 4 inches, which Apple could possibly follow. It proposes to increase the larger side of the screen by 192 pixels, from the existing size of 960 pixels on the iPhone 4 / 4S to 1152 pixels.
Everything is fine, but try to imagine now the amount of additional work for developers who will have to rewrite applications for a new screen resolution, increased by only 0.5 inches.
In this case, there is also an easy way to change the image resolution. It is often used by developers of applications for Android OS - it is banal to stretch the image. But to be honest, it doesn't look decent and is unlikely, when the iPhone 5 screen is enlarged, iOS developers will go this way.
