Many phone and tablet manufacturers are trying in every possible way to reach Apple's high bar. Yablochnye set a certain milestone in the tablet market with the release of the first iPad and is regularly moving it higher and higher. To bring their Android or Windows device closer to the iPad, manufacturers need to be more sophisticated and add unusual functionality.

SDG Systems has announced its new Android tablet called Rampage 6. The creators of the device, apparently, have seen enough videos about how the iPad is unstable to drops and external influences and decided to reliably protect their tablet. The exact dimensions of the device are not yet known, but it is already obvious that the ergonomics and usability of the gadget will clearly be inferior to other brothers.
Inside, Rampage 6 does not boast cutting edge hardware. The tablet is equipped with an 806 MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. The novelty will run on the Android 2.3 operating system. Other features include SD card slot, USB port, headphone jack, Bluetooth and WiFi.
The Rampage 6 is slated to begin sales in the third quarter of 2012. The price of the device will be announced later.
