Just now, hacker MuscleNerd tweeted about a global update of all major jailbreak tools. Finally, to version 1.2.7, the ultrasn0w iPhone jailbreak utility has been updated, the most popular jailbreak tool, Redsn0w 0.9.12b1, has also been updated, allowing you to get an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1, similar to the Absenthe 2.0.4 utility.

The hacker noted that ultrasn0w 1.2.7 does not support new versions of modems, but only supports iOS 5.1.1, i.e. in order to unlock iPhone with modem versions 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00 on iOS 5.1.1, you no longer need to use the Ultrasn0w Fixer utility.
The updated Redsn0w has also undergone significant changes, namely: if you are a user of the SAM jailbreak (which, alas, is already closed), then now you can restore the saved Activation Ticket for all devices previously released iPhone 4S directly during the jailbreak process or do it after hacking.
Redsn0w 0.9.12b1 untethered jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3. and allows you to downgrade all iOS firmware versions 1 to iOS 4.1, if you have stored SHSH digital certificates.
In addition to everything, an update of the PwnageTool 5.1.1 utility was released, with which you can create custom iOS 5.1.1 firmware without upgrading the modem on computers running Mac OS X on devices with an A4 processor and earlier (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4).
