
Mozilla has unveiled a prototype of a new user-friendly browser for the Apple iPad. It is called Junior and aims to replace the standard Safari browser. According to one of the Firefox developers, Alex Limi, the browser aims to replace the bad experience of Safari. This app is something new that looks like (brand new forward looking browser / browser for new form factor).

One of the main advantages over other browsers, according to Alex, is the minimalism of Firefox Junior.
Here's what the designer himself noted in the new browser user interface:


Another convenient addition: swipe (gesture) with your finger to the left will be able to open a password-protected menu, in which you can have your own browser account to store private information from other users of the device (for example, from other family members).

But Apple is also moving forward in the new iOS 6, Safari has received many new additions that were missing in iOS 5.
