Today, the Internet resources Apple Pro and TaoBoa have distributed photos of the iPad mini prototype almost simultaneously. Bloggers from 9to5mac claim that images posted online showing the device's physical dimensions, construction and other design features confirm the validity of previously circulated rumors.

A detailed study of the images suggests that iPad mini will be the thinnest tablet computer developed by the company's leading engineers from Cupertino.

If one of the mockup shots is to be believed, the iPad mini will indeed come with a smaller dock connector.
Earlier, its own series of exclusive photos of the engineering sample of the iPad mini appeared on the German website Giga. A couple of shots of the bare metal mockup give an idea of the iPad mini's dimensions compared to the iPhone.
Recall that according to unconfirmed reports, the younger brother of the iconic iPad will have a 7.85-inch display, while the current iPad line is equipped with a 9.7-inch touchscreen.
