Google and its manufacturing partner, Asus, are planning to release a wireless version of the Nexus 7 tablet in October. The new equipment is rumored to be on sale in about a month. This was announced by a company representative, whose name is hidden under a veil of secrecy, in an interview with MoDaCo.
The device will be supplemented with a wireless radio.
The report says that the new model will be equipped with a "3G" module. It is not known for certain whether the new tablet will support the next generation 4G LTE high-speed network.
If rumors are to be believed, Asus is ramping up production of new devices. Everything happens in strict accordance with the schedule to announce your work within six weeks. The launch date has not yet been announced.
The expected 3G version of the Nexus 7 will outperform Amazon's Kindle Fire, which has Wi-Fi only. However, Amazon is set to host a media event on Thursday, where it is expected to unveil new Kindle Fire models that could potentially include a 3G or 4G LTE option.
Apple equipped its devices with cellular data connectivity as early as 2010.
