Last week, there were rumors that professional audio equipment maker Apogee was apparently preparing to launch a new audio interface for Mac, known as Quartet. Prior to that, the company released the popular Duet 2 model - a portable device for professional sound recording.
Apogee has posted images of its new Quartet in advance on the Internet. However, no further details were reported. Now Apogee has officially unveiled an invention that will feature four inputs and eight outputs to dramatically increase bandwidth.

The Apogee Quartet can also be paired with the Apogee Duet 2 or Ensemble for additional channels. Apogee Quartet continues to run on USB 2.0. This is already yesterday. Explaining the reason for not installing USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt, it says USB 2.0 is sufficient for the needs of the Apogee Quartet.

A total of nine touchpad configurations, three of which are customizable, offer quick access to all recordings and monitoring functions. The aluminum knob controller carried over from the Duet will allow you to fine-tune your volume.
The price of the "miracle technology" Apogee Quartet is $ 1295.
