The 13-inch MacBook Pro laptop with Retina display will likely go on sale in September-October 2012, DigiTimes reported on Monday.

According to the journalists of the resource, this information was obtained from unnamed manufacturers of components for the California technology giant.
The report also says that Apple engineers originally planned to release three iMac models with new processors and screens, but due to problems with the supply of panels for the older model, mass production was delayed. The production of the other two models is expected to start in September this year.
Earlier, Richard Shim, an expert from NPD DisplaySearch, expressed his vision for the future of the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina laptop to CNet. According to the specialist's forecasts, the initial production volume of 13-inch notebooks is expected to be significantly higher compared to 15-inch counterparts.
