British developers have presented to users of mobile devices a new voice assistant called Evi. Moreover, they argue that the new development has the ability to recognize and understand those phrases that users pronounce, and it does not even matter how correctly they are formulated, which distinguishes it from other similar applications.
The assistant is based on Nuance technology that helps to recognize speech. Another interesting feature of Evi is that the system is constantly changing for the better, applying and accumulating the knowledge gained, and therefore finds direct and accurate answers to all questions asked.
Already, users can have a completely coherent conversation with the system, because, according to the developers, it has accumulated about 700 million facts. The consistency of the conversation is achieved by Evi's ability to put together the necessary file combinations to prepare a response. Moreover, during the conversation, the user can show how much he liked the answer by pressing the desired key - this is instant feedback, which again differs the system from the same assistant from Apple. The developers call Evi's compatibility with any iPhone, iPad, and all Android-based devices an undoubted plus and advantageous difference from Siri.
Considering that the Evi application itself answers numerous questions without resorting to the help of search engines, it seems that the interlocutor understands his user, which is expressed much more than in Siri.
