Today, thanks to Michael Rou, a reader of the popular Macrumors resource, we had a unique opportunity to compare the dimensions of the iPhone 5 and iPad mini with the iPhone 4S and third iPad using photographs of the cases for these devices. The photos were originally posted on Flick.
The presented covers are allegedly created by one of the companies specializing in the production of accessories for mobile devices. In terms of dimensions, it is reported that they were donated by a worker at the Foxconn plant.
These photos show the approximate dimensions of the new iPhone 5 smartphones and iPad Mini tablets. For greater clarity, the cases of the previous iPhone 4S smartphone and the third generation iPad were placed next to the cases of the new products.
However, there is one "BUT" in the information disseminated by the resource - according to Michael Rowe, the headphone jack in the iPad mini will be located at the top of the case. And this contradicts the previous assumptions of fairly authoritative sources.
