Less than a week after the official presentation of the iPhone 5, information about a possible imminent release of a new mobile product from Apple's closest competitor, the South Korean company Samsung, was leaked to the network. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit the market at the end of the first quarter of 2013, the Korea Times reported citing an unnamed source at Samsung.

In addition, according to the information provided, it is expected that the announcement of the smartphone will take place at the February Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona (Spain).
It is planned that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will go on sale a month after the official presentation, that is, in March 2013. Interestingly, Samsung's management decided to launch the new product on the market just 9 months after the release of the previous Galaxy S3 model.
As for the characteristics of the new mobile device from Samsung, an anonymous source assured the publication that it is "quite capable of curbing the ardor of Apple's latest iPhone."
The phone, equipped with a 5-inch screen, will "necessarily" support global LTE networks and will be equipped with an Exynos processor. According to rumors, the device will still run on the Android platform.
Of course, at the moment, this is nothing more than rumors. Will Samsung be able to invest in the familiar development cycle of its products? The question is open, but so far there is no evidence that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will not appear next spring.
