The Wall Street Journal today posted a short story about HP CEO Meg Whitman, who decided to follow the example of Apple and is now planning a new line of personal computers with a "new" design. The "new" design is essentially a copy or, as Mag says, an extension of Apple's product design.

Here's what the Wall Street Journal writes about it:
HP CEO Stacy Wolff snapped a photo of HP's new PC. Stacey notes that the entire computer is made in the same color palette. The company also departed from the principle when all components are assembled from many different parts, now each component, be it a keyboard, mouse or monitor, is a single piece of material (metal or plastic).

In general, HP has clearly decided not to make life difficult for itself and to follow the beaten track. Let's see where she ends up coming.
