Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer may have hurt Nokia's senses yesterday by saying HTC's flagship smartphones are the best Windows Phone devices. In “gratitude” for this, Nokia called the new line of HTC smartphones a “tactical rebranding,” and the Lumia 920, its first Windows 8 smartphone, is far better than the industry gold standard, Apple's iPhone 5.
To prove its point, Nokia decided to play an interesting game and posted an interesting infographic on its Facebook page comparing the Lumia 920 to the iPhone 5.
Of course, Nokia is no stranger to viral marketing.
A few days earlier, Nokia posted a fan-made image on Twitter, based on Samsung's anti-iPhone ads, replacing the Galaxy S III with a Nokia Lumia 920 to herald Nokia's device as a "super heavyweight champion" over the iPhone 5.
However, Nokia has put itself in a bad light by faking advertisements for the Lumia 920's camera capabilities.
