Consumer Reports, part of the well-known American independent organization "Consumers Union" (Union of consumers) was not very friendly to the iPhone 4, even after Apple gave everyone free bumpers. Moreover, the company's specialists did not like the iPhone 4S either. However, experts' opinion changed with the release of the iPhone 5 and according to them
"Apple's new smartphone is the best smartphone and the best iPhone."

After conducting a series of tests, Consumer Reports calculated that the iPhone 5 outperforms not only the iPhone 4S, but a whole range of Android smartphones. They also reported that Apple's new cards, despite widespread criticism, are "good enough."

Consumer Reports also reports that the 8MP camera in the iPhone 5 is the best camera they've seen in a smartphone, even compared to the Nokia 808, but they don't think the camera is noticeably better in low light.
