The new iPad mini will most likely be presented to the general public on October 17th and, I think, you can already guess what will be the most popular Christmas and New Year gifts this winter. Perhaps the iPad mini will break the already high iPhone 5 sales records. the new tablet is rumored to be more than affordable (no more than 250 euros),
therefore it can be bought as a gift even for your child.
But besides the fact that the new iPad mini could beat iPhone 5 sales, it could also beat (or even beat) the popularity of some existing similar devices:
1. The Amazon Kindle Fire HD
It is this tablet that can be hit first. Amazon sells its tablets and e-books for such a low price. the main income of the company is the sale of electronic versions of books. However, as soon as an analogue with better functionality and a similar cost appears - especially if we take into account that this analogue from Apple - the Kindle Fire tablets will immediately lose popularity.
2. Apple iPod Touch
Yes, the iPad mini's output can hit another device from the company - the iPod Touch (we are talking about the latest generation). And the problem here is that the new iPad mini will not be much more expensive than the last iPod Touch, so many will prefer to overpay a little, but get a tablet instead of a player.
3. The RIM BlackBerry PlayBook
This device is in this list rather conditionally, because the release of any tablet that works more or less stably will hit the popularity of the PlayBook that is not very accommodating to users.
