It didn't take long. Glasses Google Glass at least another year will not be available, and they're broke. For Apple's iOS, "jailbreak" means gaining full access to the device's file system. Developers use this access to create tweaks that can significantly expand the functionality of the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

With Android, the situation is a little different, simply because Google does not in any way prevent those wishing to "dig deeper" in their operating system, especially since it is open source. And since Android is installed on Google Glass, they can be hacked without any problems. This is exactly what Jay Freeman, better known as saurik in the iOS jailbreak community, did. In general, Freeman is the creator and owner of the Cydia store, which hosts various applications that have not been approved by the App Store censors. Today he decided to turn his eyes to Google Glass.

Google has developed its own interface for Glass that acts as an overlay. Freeman noticed that Google Glass was running Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) in the background, which he hacked. As evidence, he posted a screenshot from the HUD of his glasses.
