Fyodor Hasanov, a customs inspector, was detained in Moscow on charges of abuse of office and theft of other people's property. The clever inspector stole equipment straight from the packages.
The inspector came up with an original way to remain unnoticed in thefts: he allegedly accidentally brushed small and expensive items from the table into a trash can, the contents of which were then sent to the restroom, in which he was already fearlessly putting things in his pocket.
Hasanov 's first such case was the theft of a gold ring with a diamond, the cost of which exceeded $ 800. Obviously, the inspector could not resist the temptation of easy prey.
After some time, Fedor Hasanov discovered a new Macbook and iPad in the package, the contents of which were marked as "books and literature". Having sent the parcel to the warehouse of delayed items, the inspector, however, did not rush to part with the expensive equipment so easily. In the evening Hasanov returned to the customs department and turned his scheme again.
According to LifeNews, the case has already been brought to court, and the inspector himself has been suspended from work and has no right to leave the city on recognizance not to leave.
