A small scandal about advertising the latest version of the smartphone erupted in Tomsk back in December last year. Even then, he was recognized as offensive, but the Tomsk department of the FAS made an official decision only recently. The perpetrators of its placement are going to be brought to justice, only administrative, but in the very near future.
Recall that the scandalous poster shows a photo of a half-naked girl in black and white. The central part of the poster is a hand with a middle finger extended in a characteristic gesture. The text is more than provocative: "Kitty, buy me an iPhone 5 or don't call me again." It is noteworthy that the image of the smartphone itself is not on the advertising poster, but for a number of other details it becomes clear that this “creative” by local advertisers and the official Apple products has nothing to do with it.
However, the places for pasting the posters, the elevators of residential buildings, were chosen incorrectly - the advertisement attracted attention, but not at all those on whom its customers were counting. Representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee immediately saw a violation of Part 6 of Art. 5 FZ on advertising. In particular, provisions regarding the use of obscene language and similar gestures, as well as indecent comparisons. The image was recognized as offensive and should be removed - which is what the FAS promised to do, not postponing matters.
