The most unpleasant thing is that the wear becomes noticeable after a couple of months of constant use.

We got our hands on the materials of the research conducted by Sam Biddle (Gizmodo). The bottom line is this: one iPhone 5 was constantly used, even without a hint of a case. Another similar smartphone was protected by a cover, but it was also mercilessly exploited.

So, what did the comparison show?

It should be noted right away that the smartphone, which did not have a cover (for convenience, let's call it "sample 1"), found its first scratches on the day of purchase.

And there is nothing reprehensible in the desire of the user to see their smartphone looking good, say, a year after the purchase. After all, things should be worth the money paid for them.

Maybe chips, cracks and scratches will constantly catch your eye and lay a heavy burden on your soul. Then you can buy a Galaxy S III or Lumia 920 that won't wear out as much. But doesn't the quality of a smartphone play such an important role as the quality of its painting?

In any case, the first sample looks a little shabby after two months of intensive use. What will happen to him in a year? I think it's not hard to imagine. Although I simply do not want to do this.
