We recently talked about how to add a dark theme to iOS 7 without using Winterboard by installing the Eclipse extension. The tweak allows you to "recolor" the interface elements of the system and most applications from white to black.

In some places it works well, for example, in the App Store and iOS Settings, but the changes in the Phone and Calendar applications do not hold water. The thing is that not all elements of the system can be changed, and some of its parts remain white. This contrast repels the use of tweaks.
Recently Cydia has an alternative extension that also uses the idea of Eclipse, but has more flexible settings. A tweak called UIColors allows you to change the color of the system not only to black, but to any shade specified in the parameters.

Initially, in the tweak settings, you can select applications that will not change the color. Next, you should choose the tone you like for the main color, which will replace all the white elements. After that, you need to select a second color, buttons, switches and system headers will be colored with it. If after this the inscriptions in iOS become difficult to read, you can replace the font color.

After the done manipulations, you should select which elements will be affected by the color change (only the main graphics or additional objects) and do a respring for the changes to take effect. After the developer UIColors fixes minor bugs, the tweak can be safely recommended to Apple for use in iOS 8. Perhaps we will not see such functionality in the next version of Apple's mobile OS, but the appearance of several themes in accordance with the colors of the device cases is quite possible.
You can download the UIColors tweak from Cydia for $ 1.49.
