The designer and developer Surenix, best known for his ayecon theme and evasi0n's GUI design, recently released a small iOS tweak that allows you to change the arrangement of folder icons.
By default, iOS shows a preview of a grid of nine possible icons located in the application folder. With the help of 2 × 2 Folder Icons you can change the usual view of the display.
You can see the 2 × 2 Folder Icons program in action in the image above. As you can see, the changes look pretty fresh, especially if the applications are packaged in multiple folders.
Those of you who have installed the ayecon theme are already familiar with this form of display, as 2 × 2 Folder Icons are part of the popular "skin" developed by Surenix.
Perhaps many of you will be scared off by the too “empty” look of folders. Indeed, there is a lot of space to the left and right of the icons. The developer has already been asked to fill the entire space of the folder icon with enlarged icons. And I also hope that Surenix hears this suggestion and we will see this feature in the next version.
