The company the Parallels - the developer of virtualization software introduced an application for the iPad, with which you can manage multiple applications installed on a computer running Windows or Mac directly from the screen the iPad.

There are many similar programs for remote control of software products from the iPad screen, but, in general, they are limited to allowing the user only to move the cursor on the PC screen, i.e. turn the iPad into a kind of touchpad on a laptop.

Parallel Access, via Wi-Fi, 3G or LTE connection, allows you to control applications installed on Windows or Mac with the familiar gestures that you use when working with your tablet. Fingers seem to replace your mouse when using a particular program. Parallels Access allows you to remotely work with any software, be it a browser, text or graphics editor.

Parallels Access's interface is quite simple: the screen contains icons of programs installed on your PC. Interaction is the same as if the program is installed on your tablet. You can select and copy text, process images, process several documents at once, use the gestures you are accustomed to when working with a tablet, or use the on-screen keyboard if necessary.

Parallels Access for iPad is distributed in the App Store for free, the client for Mac OS X and Windows can be downloaded from the developer's official website. For Mac users, a two-week trial period of the program is available, for Windows users - a 90-day period (since the program is in beta testing for Windows). After the trial period, the program will need to be purchased for $ 79 per computer.

In the near future, the developers promise to release a similar product for the Android platform.
