iOS 7.1 beta 5, which was released yesterday, February 4, fixes one of the most important vulnerabilities used by hackers from the Evad3rs team when creating the Evasi0n7 utility for untethered jailbreak of the latest version of Apple's operating system.
This was announced on Twitter by the well-known iOS hacker iH8sn0w, not a member of the Evad3rs group. According to him, Apple developers have covered a vulnerability through which the Apple File Connection service, when working in mobile mode, could exit the sandbox and connect to the necessary ports. If hackers fail to solve this problem, then untethered jailbreak of iOS 7.1 will not be possible, which actually follows from the tweet of iH8sn0w.
As for the Evad3rs themselves, they do not comment on the situation in any way so as not to reveal their cards to Apple developers. By the way, recently one of the leaders of the team - Pod2g, accused iH8sn0w, Winocm and other hackers of "spotting" one of the key iOS vulnerabilities when developing an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3-6.1.5.
