It just so happened that the first batch of iPhone 5 badly damaged Apple's reputation. Numerous complaints from early smartphone owners regarding display quality, software bugs and issues with rapid back panel wear have flooded the Apple support forum.

Fortunately, over time, many problems were quickly resolved - the build quality was improved, many software bugs were eliminated, but the design feature, namely painted aluminum in the black version of the iPhone 5, continues to bring discomfort to its owners.
Some noticed the problem immediately after unpacking the phone, while others only found scuffs after a few days or weeks of use.
There are cases when the owners of smartphones with a similar problem were able to get Apple to replace their phones, however, despite this, one of the users decided to go the other way, and it is worth noting the originality of this solution.
Faced with a prematurely shabby iPhone 5, MacRumors forum user travis.hansen decided to take matters into his own hands and polished the phone around the edges, removing any remaining paint, leaving only a shiny metallic finish that looks amazing.
As you can see in the photo and accompanying video, the result is a silver edge on the back of the iPhone 5, which gives the phone, already one of the nicest phones on the market, an even more unique look.
According to the latest reports, coating problems for the black version of the iPhone 5 have been partially resolved, since quality control has been tightened in the assembly shops at Foxconn's plant.
