Faced with a prematurely shabby iPhone 5, MacRumors forum user travis.hansen decided to take matters into his own hands and polished the phone around the edges, removing any remaining paint, leaving only a shiny metallic finish that looks amazing.
As you can see in the photo and accompanying video, the result is a silver edge on the back of the iPhone 5, which gives the phone, already one of the nicest phones on the market, an even more unique look.
According to the latest reports, coating problems for the black version of the iPhone 5 have been partially resolved, since quality control has been tightened in the assembly shops at Foxconn's plant.
