The company Apple is not giving up in patent disputes with the South Korean giant, the Samsung. The management of the companies held negotiations regarding litigation between the two leaders of the IT market. However, the meeting was not productive - the heads of the company remained unconvinced.

Reporters learned that the negotiations were not effective due to the fact that Apple demanded too large royalties from its South Korean competitor. At the same time, Cupertino wants to receive a certain amount from each sold Android device. This amount is, neither more nor less, $ 40. This is how Apple estimated the value of five patents, which, in its opinion, were used by Samsung in its own developments. Thus, one patent in one device was valued at Apple at $ 8. This amount is much higher than what other companies calculate - for example, the Taiwanese HTC pays $ 5 for the use of patents from one smartphone.

The Apple believes that Samsung illegally used such technology as the patent on unlocking function device, auto-complete, data synchronization, search features, and dial a phone number when you click on the link. Recall that the lawsuit between Apple and Samsung has been going on for over a year. Judge Lucy Koch recently ruled that Samsung should pay Apple a $ 930 million fine.
