An error on the iCloud.com website resulted in a notification on the home page that Bookmarks for iCloud is "coming soon." In this regard, it seems that the site may have new functionality for displaying iCloud bookmarks saved in Safari on devices running Mac and iOS.
According to analysts, if Bookmarks were added to iCloud, they would be useful for those users who want to access bookmarks on a computer that is rarely used. However, iCloud currently only syncs Safari bookmarks between desktop and mobile devices. However, bookmarks are not yet available through the iCloud.com portal.
The iCloud Bookmarks page was first discovered by Twitter user Daeton Lowell, noting that it appears when you enter the specific URL https://icloud.com/bookmarks_extension, available after installing a Chrome browser extension that works with the iCloud client for Windows.
Moreover, the introduction page contains design elements of iOS 7 for Bookmarks, which is more evidence of developing new features than preparing an old page for existing functionality.
