On Sunday, Las Vegas police announced the arrest of two young men suspected of killing a 15-year-old teenager over an iPad. Jacob Dismont, 18, and Michael Solid, 21, were taken to Clark County Jail. They are charged with murder, robbery, and conspiracy to rob. This is reported by the Las Vegas Sun.

According to the investigation, on Thursday, May 16, 15-year-old Marcos Arenas was walking down the street when he was attacked by a passenger (presumably Jacob Dismont) of a car parked nearby and tried to take possession of Arenas's tablet. The teenager resisted, after which, during the struggle, he was under the car, which began to move a few seconds later. Later, Arenas died in hospital.
As one of the main evidence for the prosecution, there is a video recorded by a video surveillance camera of a nearby store.
Before this incident, Michael Solid already had problems with the law - he had already been prosecuted for car thefts, thefts and robberies. Jacob Dismont did not appear in police reports before this story.
According to Clark County Police Department spokesman Bill Cassell, "it was a senseless act of violence." In addition, Cassell noted that similar incidents involving Apple devices are quite common throughout the United States, which gave rise to calling such crimes "apple picking."
Let us remind our readers once again: if it so happened that you are being robbed, and resisting is impossible or can lead to serious consequences for you, give the robber what he wants to get.
Life is more precious.
