If you still don’t believe that the market for “smart” watches is developing by leaps and bounds, but by, forgive the tautology, this very clock, pay attention to the well-known Kickstarter project. The site for collecting funds for various technical and scientific developments has already helped several such devices become successful, and today another is on the way. Please welcome! Watch the Hot Watch.

The developer of this miracle watch is the PHTL think tank based in Dallas. Hot Watch has several unique features, for example, in addition to all the usual smart watch functions, the developers introduced a technology called “ Hands on Talk ”.
The Hot Watch uses Sharp's 1.26-inch E-paper display, Cortex-M3 processor and Bluetooth 4.0. This technical data helps the device achieve a 7-day standby time. The Hot Watch also has a 6-axis accelerometer and built-in gyroscope.

Now let's touch on the capabilities of smart watches from PHTL. Hot Watch can literally everything you would like to have in such a device: pedometer, applications: weather, stocks, calendar; GPS, speakerphone and the list goes on for a very long time.

But there is one feature that should be noted separately: calls. The patented Hands on Talk technology used in the Hot Watch allows the wearer of the smartwatch to make and receive phone calls by simply holding the watch to their ear.
In the video below, you can see this feature in action:
There is one but - the device is not ready yet. The developers created working prototypes of the watch and went to Kickstarter to raise money to start mass production. If you are interested, then donating only $ 129 will receive a unique pre-order opportunity. You can pay the full retail price of $ 199.
There are 26 days left until the closure of cash collection, and PHTL has already raised more than double the required $ 150,000.
