The acclaimed Velox tweak inspires other developers to release useful and attractive extensions. A large number of additions to it have already appeared in Сydia. The author of the tweak Badger also used the concept of Velox, however, he did not become attached to the latter, but made a separate full-fledged extension.
The tweak looks like this: when a new notification arrives from any application, the tweak displays it right on the desktop. To do this, just make a vertical swipe on the icon and all missed messages will be displayed in a pop-up window. Badger is intended primarily for instant messengers, however, it works great with all programs and games.
In the extension settings, you can choose one of five animations for the appearance and disappearance of the notification window. You can choose between appearances from any of the screen boundaries and on-site appearances. A choice of activation method is also available. You can call the window with notifications by vertical or horizontal swipes, double-clicking on the icon or tapping on the badge.
Badger allows you to disable the work of the extension with the necessary applications and will not be active on those icons for which there are no unread notifications, unlike Velox.
