Presumably, next year Apple plans to introduce the next version of the mobile OS - iOS 8. The next assembly of the mobile platform should not bring any revolutionary, cardinal changes. It is planned as a logical continuation of the development of iOS 7.

One of the innovations planned in iOS 8 may be interactive notifications. Recall that for the first time notifications appeared in iOS 5, in the form of banners that appear when receiving incoming messages or other events. Of course, notifications in iOS are very convenient: they do not distract the user from communicating with the gadget, they are minimalistic, they convey, in a compressed form, only the essence of the event. However, until now, after 2 generations of operating system development, they only notify the user and do not give him the opportunity to interact in any way with the applications that send them.

Designer Sam Beckett suggested making notifications more interactive. Beckett designed his idea in the form of a concept called Interactive Notifications for iOS 8 ”And demonstrated in a short video. Based on what is shown in this concept video, notifications in iOS 8 may receive a Reply button. Thus, upon receipt of an incoming message, the user will be able to answer it without being distracted from the current activity by pressing one button.

When you click on the "Reply" button, a screen opens in front of the user, containing: the text of the incoming message, the response input field and the keyboard. After viewing or responding to an incoming message, this screen closes and the system returns the user to the previously opened application. Now such functionality can be obtained only after applying a jailbreak to the device and then installing BiteSMS. This application allows you to reply to incoming messages without interrupting your previous activity. The implementation of this concept in the new version of iOS will certainly be a long-awaited event for millions of users.
