The development team has expanded the search capabilities of the Evernote for Mac app by adding the ability to describe the content you are looking for using simple, familiar words and phrases. Now the application can search for the information it needs through the description of images, notes, documents, applications and other data.

By using the tool Search description » (Descriptive Search) users can search your notes, using a space, the file content, date range, and more.
The feature is currently available in Evernote 5.5, which can be upgraded for free from the Mac App Store.

According to the creators, the program now analyzes notes, tags and devices used by the user.

Unfortunately, the new feature is currently only available to English-speaking US users (US Apple ID users). It is expected to become available in other countries in the near future. However, the mobile version of the service has not yet received a new feature.
According to the creators, even if the user has accumulated a huge amount of content, this function will make it incredibly easy to find the necessary material.
For a more precise query, add or remove search terms, or use the pop-up menu.
Another change in Evernote 5.5 for Mac is that a premium user can now add a scanned image of a business card using the ScanSnap Evernote scanner.

In addition, the new version includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.
