A new photo depicting future budget iPhones has appeared on the French blog NoWhereElse. After checking the original version of the photograph, it became known that it originally appeared on the Sina Weibo resource and was taken directly at the Shanghai Pegatron plant.
Such a statement seems to be true given the report by the Chinese labor control organization Labor Watch about the factories involved in making Apple products.
According to a Chinese resource, the author of the photo is an employee, or rather a former employee of the company, who was responsible for quality control of products manufactured by the plant. In an earlier commentary, he hinted that, among other things, the company he works for assembles the latest version of the Mac mini (most likely an iPad mini 2). Photo caption reads:

The caption does not explain what process is depicted in the photograph. Perhaps this is a procedure for checking the functionality of a control batch of smartphones before packaging. Journalists observed a similar picture during excursions to factories before, however, they were not allowed to photograph production lines.
