Apple's financial policy conference call was held yesterday, October 28, where CEO Tim Cook shared his vision for a new iPhone strategy.
One of the questions addressed to Cook was how Apple plans to enter the market for more affordable smartphones and where the iPhone 5C is. The head of the corporation said that now the iPhone 4S is a budget model of the iPhone, despite the fact that up to the release of the iPhone 5C it was he who was considered the cheap version of the flagship smartphone.
Cook also admitted that he considers the iPhone 4S a cheap version of the smartphone, and also explained why the company decided not to renew the iPhone 4, despite its high sales rate.
