A California federal court has issued an indictment against Karim McFarlin. This man was suspected of robbing Steve Jobs's house. By a court decision, the 35-year-old American was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

During the trial, the investigation established that in the summer of 2012, Karim broke into Jobs' house in Palo Alto. From the possessions of the ex-Apple chief, he stole three iPads, necklaces of platinum Tiffany & Co, iMac computers, Jobs' wallet and an Apple TV set-top box. The total amount stolen exceeded $ 200,000.

According to the investigation report, McFarlin accidentally entered Jobs' house. He just walked around town hoping to find an easy way to make money. The man noticed that there was no light in the house and decided to look in. For some reason the alarm did not work.

The offender did not immediately understand where he was. He was surprised by the minimalism that reigned inside. No frills. Only the necessary furniture. The attention of the robber was attracted by the "apple" technique, which is everywhere. McFarlin realized whose house he had robbed only after finding a letter addressed to Jobs. Without hesitation, the thief gathered everything that caught his eye and tried to hide.
In addition to all the loot, Karim got Steve Jobs' wallet with an annual salary.
