Apple shipped 1.4 million iPhone 5s to the Chinese company this Friday, according to the company's latest report. China Mobile Chairman Xi Guohua said that the total number of orders for iPhone smartphones can be considered multimillion.

After years of negotiations, Apple finally signed a deal with China Mobile last month, and for the first time in history is set to begin selling iPhones through the carrier's retail chains this weekend. But, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook, this is just the beginning. The Wall Street Journal reported that the head of the company expressed very optimistic expectations from this deal and cooperation with the Chinese mobile operator in general. He added that China is one of the most important markets for the company's development, and the new partnership will showcase the capabilities of the iPhone to users of the world's largest cellular operator.

Quite an interesting statement by Cookhints at future collaboration with China Mobile. A spokesperson for the company does not make specific announcements, but it is known that future plans of the company include the sale of iPad tablets that support cellular communication. Apple is facing some challenges over the sale of cheap phones in China. However, Cook noted that in a similar way, the company wants to get as many Chinese customers as possible by offering iPhone devices through China Mobile at low prices. He added that Apple has always focused on creating the very best technical products, and that will never change.

As mentioned earlier, it will be very interesting to see the results of such cooperation. China Mobile has over 700 million subscribers, which is 7 times more than the largest US operator Verizon. The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will go on sale in China Mobile stores this Friday or closer to January 27, 2014, when Apple will release its fiscal first quarter results.
