Despite the variety of "music" tweaks that improve the capabilities of the standard iOS player, Cydia continues to provide interesting solutions for music lovers. A new tweak from Cydia called Spin adds a beautiful widget that allows you to more conveniently control playback from the lock screen of your iPhone or iPad.
There are only four options in the tweak settings (Settings -> Spin).
- Enabled - enables and disables the extension.
- Background Artwork - allows you to use the cover of the track being played as the background of the lock screen.
- Dark Background - allows you to activate the darkening of the background.
- Slide to unlock text - removes the “unlock” inscription (iOS respring is required for use).
Spin adds a widget to the lock screen to control the player. Most of the screen is occupied by a circle with an album cover. A track status indication is displayed along its perimeter. Unfortunately, using the circle you cannot skip the compositions forward or backward, the indicator is only informative. The title of the song and the artist is displayed above the cover, and below it there are buttons for pause and skip to the next / previous track.
