A faster and more practical way to launch applications is suggested by the author of the tweak RocketLauncher. After installing the extension, just hold your finger on the lock screen. This will bring up a menu with icons and small application preview windows. Releasing your finger on the desired icon will launch the corresponding application.
The tweak settings allow you to enable or disable darkening and blurring the background. In addition, application previews can be full-screen or reduced. The Custom Application Settings sections allow you to select the required applications, specify their order and set a list of exclusions.
