The extension adds an additional screen to the lockscreen, which will contain icons for launching the necessary applications. So, for example, for the Mail and Messages applications, holding will open a window for composing a new message, holding the Phone icon will display a list of contacts, etc.
The AppBox tweak has several settings. You can choose the transparency and size of the lock screen icons, and add or remove app shortcuts. In addition, it is possible to specify the number of icons displayed in one row and disable the display of badges on them.
