Apple developers have released the first beta of the next desktop operating system, OS X Mavericks 10.9.3. During assembly testing, Apple asks developers to pay special attention to the sound and graphics drivers.
Recall that almost two weeks ago, Apple released the previous version of OS X 10.9.2, which fixed a critical vulnerability in SSL connection verification, as well as improved overall system security and implemented the FaceTime audio call function for Mac. Reported build of OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Beta 1 13D12 contains minor updates. The main innovation concerns the optimization of the configuration of computers with 4K monitors. Recall that the latest version of the 2013 Mac Pro supports three such monitors simultaneously, however, the low refresh rate and the lack of HiDPI scaling prevented the comfortable use of the system.
By the way, recently there have been rumors regarding the development of Apple's own 4K monitor - Thunderbolt Display, with the preparation of the release of which, possibly, the release of the OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 update is associated. The update itself "weighs" 202 megabytes and is available for download in the Mac Dev Center for developers participating in the corresponding Apple program.
