IOS 6 jailbroken users will probably remember a rather interesting tweak called Badger. This extension allowed you to view incoming notifications right on your desktop without opening an application. The add-on has acquired a solid army of fans who have been waiting for an updated version of the tweak for iPhone and iPad running iOS 7.

Recently, a new tweak has appeared in Cydia called Badger 7, which is a direct descendant of the beloved extension. The new addition has been completely redesigned not only graphically, but also functionally. Now the tweak is fully consistent with the concept of iOS 7. After installing it, it becomes possible to view incoming notifications by swiping your finger over the badge icon. The screen at this moment will close the "translucent glass", on which the text of the messages will be displayed.

This way you can quickly read SMS, view information about missed calls or new e-mail messages. Swiping to the left will bring up a menu to delete notifications or quickly reply to them.

Badger 7 has a number of options:

Invocation method - selection of the activation method (swipe on the icon or double click);
Blur Amount - transparency of the message window;
Darken Amount - dims the screen from black to light;
Animation Duration - speed of opening the notification window;
Pull-To-Refresh is an option that allows you to update the list of notifications by swiping down.

The rest of the parameters are related to the display of the number of messages. In general, Badger 7 looks good, but the existing version of the tweak has a number of bugs and shortcomings. The notifications are not always displayed correctly, sometimes the tweak "eats" messages and does not display them, graphical collisions are often observed. In addition, the extension does not provide for a blacklist, and the most unpleasant thing is that viewed or deleted notifications via the tweak simply remove the badge on the icon, but do not mark the messages themselves in the applications. If you then go into the program, you will see all letters or calls as missed and you will have to scroll through them to unmark.
