Mac users have been eagerly awaiting new releases for their platform, and the popular first-person shooter BioShock Infinite and city building simulator SimCity are available for download today.
BioShock Infinite was recently released on the PC platform by developer Irrational. To create a version of the game for the Mac, the company turned to the help of the studio 2K Marin. The game is set in an alternative universe in the city of Columbia, soaring high in the clouds. The city embodies all the cultural, religious and other ideals of Americans, but it is isolated from most of humanity. Civil war broke out in Columbia.
The protagonist of the game, Detective Booker DeWitt, goes to Columbia in search of Elizabeth's girlfriend, who has been kept there since childhood, he must help her get out of there. Unraveling more and more mysteries, the detective learns that Elizabeth is the key character on which the outcome of the civil war depends.
In order to play BioShock Infinite, you need a Mac with a minimum configuration: OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4, Intel Core 2 Duo processor 2.2 GHz or higher, 4 GB of RAM on board.
SimCity came out on PC quite recently and lost the numbers in the name that were present in previous versions. The novelty was heavily condemned in reviews and from ordinary users. The fact is that the developers did not ensure the stable operation of the game servers, and in the new version of the game the multiplayer component plays a primary role. The gameplay provides players with ample space for interaction with each other. For example, if one player pollutes a river upstream, then the player who owns the city downstream may lose most of his population.
The developers assure that with the release of the game on the Mac, most of the problems with the game servers will already be resolved, and players will be able to enjoy the gameplay to the fullest.
For the game SimCity will need a computer with the following minimum configuration: OS the X Mountain Lion 10.7.5, the processor Intel Core 2 Duo. For Windows and Mac users , the servers are not subdivided, you can play in the same virtual world. And those players who managed to purchase Windows - the SimCity version, the Mac version will get for free.
