Satya Nadella plans to hold his first press conference as Microsoft CEO next week. Media representatives have already received an invitation to March 27 in San Francisco for a meeting on cloud and mobile technologies.
Nadella is expected to discuss Microsoft's "first in mobility, first in the cloud" strategy, as well as important news regarding Build in early April. According to anonymous sources, there will also be a presentation of Office for iPad at the event.
After months of development, Microsoft already unveiled a version of Office for iPhone last June, and it can be assumed that Office for iPad will be nothing more than its enhanced version with document editing capabilities, subject to an Office 365 subscription. It became known that the application will fully support work with documents Word, Excel and PowerPoint. As for the interface, it will remain similar to the iPhone version.
