Samsung Galaxy S5 Size Comparison Versus Previous Galaxy S Models

Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the most talked about and anticipated new products of this year. Therefore, having appeared, the flagship of the South Korean manufacturer caused a wave of discussions. True, not all Internet users express their admiration for the smartphone - the majority of fans and critics of the Galaxy S5 were not impressed at all.

However, regardless of the first impression, the next step is always to compare new items with other similar devices. Naturally, the Galaxy S5 was no exception, and over the last 24 hours on the Web, the parameters of the new item have been discussed every now and then, as well as comparative reviews. At the same time, in most cases, devices from competing companies - LG, Motorola, Sony, HTC and Apple were used for comparison. Interestingly, bloggers are already trying to compare the Galaxy S5 with not yet presented gadgets, for example, the iPhone 6.

One of the most interesting comparisons can be safely called an experiment conducted by journalists from Phone Arena. The reviewers decided to see how much the new Samsung flagship has changed compared to previous versions of the Galaxy S-series smartphones. At the same time, only the sizes of all devices were compared. A lot of time has passed since the release of the Galaxy S GT-I9000, and modern mobile devices have noticeably increased in size (see photo above).

Almost every year, the size of the flagships of the South Korean company has increased relentlessly, but the design of smartphones has hardly changed. So, the only smartphone from Samsung that differs from the rest is Galaxy S2. It is noteworthy that modern manufacturers of Android smartphones are trying to produce devices with large screens, and this trend has come to the liking of the market.
