More recently, the Google Play Music service was launched in Russia, and soon an application for the iPhone appeared in the App Store. Unfortunately, the iPhone application does not have some important functions (downloading tracks, buying music) and, therefore, to fully use Google Play Music, you have to use a computer or laptop.

However, some Google Music users who wanted to listen to songs through the desktop Safari browser in OS X Mavericks encountered a problem - the browser did not play tracks, even with the Flash plugin installed.
The overwhelming majority of those faced with this problem blamed the Flash plugin for Safari, since in Google Chrome, where the Flash plugin is already built in by default, Google Play Music works great.
It turns out that the problem lies with OS X Mavericks. It turns out the Safari browser on OS X Mavericks disables plugins to save power.
In order for the web version of Google Play Music (and, possibly, some other sites) to work correctly in Safari for OS X Mavericks, you must disable this option. You can do this in Safari Preferences, Add-ons tab.

After that, just reload the Google Play Music page and enjoy the service.
