The construction of a new building for Apple employees has been going on for a long time and we have already posted project photos of the future campus, which will be located in Austin, Texas. One of the visitors to the American information blog managed to take photos of the construction of one of the buildings of the future project.
The photographs show not the main building, which has already been nicknamed the iSpaceship, but another, which is located on the southern part of the campus. The completed building will be two rectangular blocks connected to each other. These blocks will be intended for the offices of future employees. The total area of the building will be about 18,500 square meters. This building will cost the company $ 56 million.
The construction of this particular building will end in 2015. The entire project is planned to be completed only by 2021. However, it is worth remembering that upon completion, this campus will become the largest technology center in the United States.
Recall that the construction of the Apple Campus 2 complex began in December 2012, as a replacement for the existing central campus of the company. The total amount that Apple intends to spend on this project is $ 304 million.
The new campus will provide the company with 2,000 additional jobs.
