There is a special category of users who, despite a properly working device, are eager to get under the cover. It is for such people that instructions similar to the following are published from time to time.

If you have an iPhone 6 and you want to see what the developers have filled it with, despite the fact that you can easily lose the right to warranty service, this manual will help you at least not cause significant damage to your device.

So, in order to disassemble the smartphone, the first step is to unscrew the two pentalobe screws located on the bottom of the device. Due to their non-standard nature and the associated difficulties, Apple's screws have earned a lot of obscene epithets in the blogosphere.

After you overcome this difficult barrier, you can consider that half of the work is done. To remove the screen cover, it is advisable to use some kind of non-marking tape or suction cup.

Due to the display cable located at the top of the smartphone, it will not be possible to completely remove the lid, but it can be easily detached using a thin plastic plate (for example, a guitar pick).

Further, having examined the "stuffing" of the iPhone, you will notice that all other parts are screwed on with standard screws. Therefore, it will not be difficult for you to unscrew the metal plate that holds the front panel.

After that, remove the Home button with tweezers. Finish disassembling the cover by disconnecting the loop and dismantling the speaker and front camera.

Next, using a plastic plate (to which the display cable was disconnected), remove the battery. Use tweezers to remove the rear camera and antennas. Then remove the EMC protection.

Finally, it remains to dismantle only the vibration motor, charging connector, microphone and power and volume buttons. Manipulations should also be carried out with tweezers.

Summing up, we can notice that the iPhone 6 is not so difficult to disassemble yourself. In particular, unlike the previous model, there is no difficulty with the fingerprint sensor cable.
