The main element of EnergySkin is a docking station equipped with a wireless charging module and connected to an electrical outlet or a computer (a USB cable is included). However, wireless charging requires a special case for the iPhone 6, but there is hardly anyone who wants to purchase a special accessory just to use it when recharging a smartphone.
The EnergySkin developers have solved the problem simply - their case for iPhone 6, despite the small thickness of 7.4 mm, is equipped with a built-in 3000 mAh battery, which extends the battery life of the device by 125%. In addition, EnergySkin can be a useful purchase for Apple Watch owners - the "back" on which the iPhone rests during charging or synchronization can also serve as a docking station for smart watches.
At the moment, the authors of the project have collected the first working prototypes and received an MFi certificate from Apple, but the fundraising on Kickstarter has not yet been very successful - only a fifth of the required amount of $ 25 thousand was collected 13 days before the end of the campaign.
To help the startup get the EnergySkin docking station and battery case at the end of September, it is enough to invest $ 39 (worldwide shipping for $ 15).
