The application for interacting with the television environment using Tviz has managed to earn a good name, and with the release of version 4.0 its functionality has been significantly expanded.

Second screen concept
In front of the TV screen, you are not a user, but only a spectator. Deliberately devoid of feedback from the data source, and just the ability to somehow interact with the content, except for obedient contemplation of the picture. These are the fundamental limitations of the television format, which can be overcome without the hassle and investment of having a second, “smart” screen. Physically, it can be represented by an iPad display or even a small space on the iPhone's desktop.
Tviz features
The central menu of the application is occupied by Teleprogram, a universal multi-page aggregator of data from more than 500 TV channels available in the Russian airspace. Right in front of your eyes, the feed of the programs being broadcast at the moment, with a breakdown by channel, above it are the vital sorting tools with such an abundance of content. By date, genre, time, favorite broadcast lines, plus smart search by program name. The TV program is limited by the schedule for the next day, and for those who like to know everything in advance, there is a Calendar with data for the whole week, announcements of new products and important dates.
Tap on the object of interest opens a page with detailed information about it - data from movie sets, trailers and posters, lists of actors, ratings of KinoPoisk and IMDb for films and TV series, reviews, criticism in social networks and other related information are collected by the system automatically. There are also useful tools with which you can create a reminder for yourself for the future, rate the program, send it to favorites or banned, arrange a discussion in a profile chat with other Tviz users.
Making a screenshot and posting it on social networks, compiling a dynamic selection of tweets (useful links) for a specific type of content, creating a mini-quiz based on a movie for those who like to show off their awareness - all this was possible even for previous versions of Tviz.
The proprietary function of the application is the ability to recognize the broadcast content by sound, followed by an accurate identification of the program and the television channel on which it is broadcast. The system is activated at the direct request of the user.
It should be noted that Tviz also has a very convenient web version of the service.
What's new in version 4.0?
- Modernized search engine - the issue is generated immediately as you enter characters;
