The creator of the YouTube channel Unbox Therapy, video blogger Lewis Hilsenteger, posted an interesting video in which he tried on possible cases for the iPhone SE and iPhone 7 for current smartphone models. Assuming that the design of the cases is based on these drawings, their features confirm the rumors about each of the devices, in particular, information about the absence of a 3.5 mm jack in the iPhone 7 and the iPhone SE form factor, similar to the iPhone 5 and 5s.

In the beginning, Hilsenteger compared the case for the 4-inch iPhone SE with the iPhone 5. The smartphone fit the case well in size, with the exception of one discrepancy - the slots for the volume keys were displaced. Presumably, this is due to small changes in the design of the iPhone SE, which is rumored to have a case with rounded edges.
Next, the video blogger tried on a case for the iPhone 7 on the iPhone 6s, paying attention to the noticeably enlarged cutout for the camera, which is slightly shifted down. Except for this detail, the iPhone 6s fits perfectly into the iPhone 7 case.
According to current rumors, the iPhone 7 will have an improved camera, while the larger iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual camera module. Notches on the bottom of the case confirm the information about replacing the 3.5 mm jack with a universal Lightning port and the appearance of stereo speakers.
Feld & Volk previously released renderings based on previous leaks suggesting that the iPhone 7 will be significantly thinner than the iPhone 6s. However, in the Hilsenteger video, the iPhone 6s fits snugly against the case, so it is possible that changes in thickness, if any, will be minor.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 7 in September this year, but users will be able to familiarize themselves with the iPhone SE much earlier. On March 21, the company will be holding a special event at which it is expected to announce a new 4-inch iPhone.
