On March 21, in Cupertino, Apple held a presentation of its new products - the 4-inch iPhone SE smartphone and a smaller version of the iPad Pro tablet. The event began with a reminder that the company will turn 40 on April 1.

Before the Apple executives came onstage to present their new developments, a short video intro titled "40 years in 40 seconds" was shown to the audience. In it, the Cupertines listed all their famous devices, technologies and less successful products that were created over almost half a century of the company's activity.
During the speech of Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environmental work, another video was shown. This time, dedicated to a robot called Liam, which is designed to disassemble non-working "Apple" gadgets.
In fact, this is a specific automatic line that disassembles and sorts parts of Apple devices. After the completion of its work, some of the components go to melting, and some can be reused in gadgets.
The third video was shown during a presentation by Jeff Williams, who is in charge of the company's health management development. The video focused on the ResearchKit platform, which allows you to run simple diagnostic tests using your iPhone and Apple Watch.
In particular, the platform and accompanying applications will help to detect Parkinson's disease in the early stages, track the development of the child, and, based on the collected data, determine the likelihood of an epileptic seizure.
The last video showed the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. For three minutes, the authors of the video briefly list the capabilities of the new tablet. The video ends with a slight trolling of the PC - the words that the new mobile device can become the user's next computer.
